What this site is, where the data comes from, and how to read a 40–99 rating.
Every match in Division I women’s volleyball gets scouted touch by touch. This site turns those files into something you can actually read: a rating for every team, rankings that adjust for who you played, and a comparison tool that tells you who should win.
How to read a rating
Ratings run from 40 to 99. A 70 is the D1 average; 85 is roughly the top 15% of the country; 95 and up is a handful of teams. Each of the five components (attacking, serving, passing, blocking, digging) is built from opponent-adjusted numbers, so a team that hits .300 against the best blocking in the country gets more credit than one that hits .300 against nobody.
